2012 Jan to March

Many thanks to Anne Hunter coaching and Katie Frost for organising the three show jumping clinics Jan 6th, 13th and 27th.

Clinics with Katherine every Wednesday and Arena Eventing clinic Sun 22nd were all well attended.

Dressage show 28th, well done to our winners. Vanessa Gaskin on Katie in the Intro, Caroline Dyer on Echo in the Prelim, M. Morris on Fred in the Novice and Amy Coote on Chicago in the Elementary.

Feb 1st we would like to welcome Emma Capewell as a new full time member of staff. She is training to take her BHS exams.
Katherine starts back full time after maternity leave and baby Florence starts nursery two days a week.

Clear round on the 11th. A really fun and informal day, ideal for any youngsters ready for an outing.

Dressage clinic on the 12th with Kate Atlee, a full and enjoyable day kindly organised by Vivienne Rhodes.

25th, Dressage competition with NPS Sections all well attended. Lots of ponies qualifying for the Championships at Addington in April. Good luck to you all.

Both surfaces had an uplift and levelling and we introduced combi ride fibre to the outdoor surface.

March. Maple Arenas make an excellent job of fencing the outdoor school. Clear round on the 10th cancelled due to the arena maintenance although Katherine ran an Arena eventing clinic in the indoor instead for those who were interested welcoming some new faces.

On the 9th the lorry came out of retirement and Katherine and McCoy went for a lesson with Caroline Moore both having an exciting jump.

Katherine and Jane attend a BHS Show Jump and Course Building Convention on the 12th at Bury Equestrian Centre. A really full and interesting day with lots of involvement.

17th and 18th A special two days with Conrad Schumacher here coaching some super horses working at a higher level. A special thanks to Louise Davison organiser of riders and Conrad who involved and made the day very interesting and enjoyable for the spectators.

Another full Dressage clinic with Kate Atlee on the 24th welcoming new faces here for some excellent training.

Sun 25th our first Jumpcross Training day for 2012. Well it could have been June!! Glorious weather, fantastic fun and lots of new faces. Rebecca had an excellent session with her pony club group, we smelt the bacon cooking afterwards and oh Heather 'our late arriver' Hope you didn't miss much and managed to find your way home!!

26th Chloe and Jess cross country schooling here around our course on Toby and Tomos both looking good and behaving very well after a Winter only jumping in the indoor school.

27th A trip to Malvern Sales...nothing to report.

29th Katherine and Rebecca attend a First Aid refresher day at BHS HQ at Stoneleigh.

30th Basil moves to his new home here on the Livery yard with new mum Debbie.

Dressage competition on Sat 31st with NPS Qualifiers.
