January & February 2011

The Grangewood Team would like to wish everyone a very happy new year.

Congratulations to Katherine and her partner Matthew who are expecting their first baby. We did laugh when she asked Christina at Equestriana if she stocked maternity Jodhpurs!!

As of January 1st 2011 Grangewood Farm Livery have been granted a Riding School Licence. We have a few lovely horses and ponies we are able to teach on and will teach beginners to the more advanced. We are able to train for specific goals whether they are personal, competition or qualification orientated. Please see the events section for more details.

Cheeko has been out with Katherine to Vale View and Fieldhouse winning his qualifiers at Prelim level.

Caroline has been continuing to join us for her jumping clinics over the Winter months which have been very enjoyable.

Harry Payne came to us on Sunday 23rd for a Dressage Clinic which was very well attended and places were taken up quickly. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Harry will now be coming hopefully once a month to continue this. See calendar of events for dates.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who are supporting the dressage shows and clear rounds, they have been very popular and lots of fun has been had. We hope to be able to continue these shows and in the future add a little more variety to the schedule. Again please see calendar of events for coming dates.

February 9th - Well done to Vicky for passing her Stage 1 Riding and Care. Well done for getting there on time even though you got lost!! At least you'll know the way next time when you go for your Riding & Road Safety.
